Tom,
What can I say; it is truly a work of art. You have silenced my analytical side, I am reveling in its beauty. It definitely will propel my musical inspiration, and I didn't think that was possible.

That oil just kicked it up to a stellar level. Suffice it to say, you have blown my expectations away. Everything blends so well together like I could not imagine. It is organic in every sense of the word. In the beginning we weren't connecting on this vision, but in the end you took my idea and flew with it to places I couldn't visualize. There isn't a bass anywhere else on the planet that I could want more. I believe that this bass should win some kind of award and/or featured in some publication.

Its only drawback is that it is not versatile, but of course that's not want I wanted. I hope we can maintain some sort of communication in the future. I would definitely want honest feedback from you with the recording project that I will do with this instrument. This bass exudes a certain class I have not yet seen before. Is it me, Tom, or is this the best bass you have built to date?

Sincerely,
Bill

YEE-HAW!!!!!! Tom, it's gorgeous!!

My wife broke it out before I got it home. She and my daughter were gleefully popping bubble wrap on the living room floor when I walked through the door! and there it was sitting in the stand with sun shining on it rather dramatically ( seriously!). I barely contained myself long enough to change my clothes before I could play it!

She sounds just beautiful -- everything that I was looking for and has a very big sound unplugged, as well. All the tone is controlled with my finger which is exactly what I wanted! The craftsmanship is excellent, as well. The whole bass feels velvety smooth to the touch and I love the wax over the oil finish - perfect! This is an extremely playable bass -- very light (compared to my hot-rodded 70's j bass) this bass is as light as a feather. I like the neck being set deep into the body as I can rest my fingers on it when playing. This isn't any instrument where going for Jaco sounds so needing to play back by the bridge won't be necessary. The neck playability is also phenomenal. Very smooth and easy to change positions. You also nailed the action wonderfully which with a wooden bridge and all the mechanics of nailing the piezo set-up is an incredible credit to your tenacity! The action is comfortably low without being so low that you lose the full upright like growl. She also sounds great when I play palm muted with my thumb.

My thanks again to you for a wonderful instrument and the pleasure of meeting and working woth a great guy!

I LOVE it... finally played my first show with it couple of weeks ago (the sitar player in our band is finishing his senior year of college, so we were on a brief hiatus) and was amazed how awesome it sounded and how amazingly resonant it is.

Thanks again!
Paul

Gotta say I love it..The neck is bad ass! It plays like buttaaa...Perfect shape for my hand..I love the body shape as well and it's lite as a damn feather..Well maybe as lite as a chicken..ha ha. Sounds great even though I played it through a little guitar practice amp..(and the amp stopped working after 10 minutes..lol..seriously.)

Now my biggest problem is how do I get the same bass with frets in black? Do you do fretted basses cause I seriously want one? Most of the stuff I do is fretted work and I'd really love to play one...I'll get a hell of a lot more mileage out of it... Thanks again for an awesome bass and let me know about the other one.....

Sincerely,
Kelly

Hey Tom,
It plays beautifully!  I think my fear of bolt-on necks is over.  I love the action, and the EMG's sound great!  The rear pickup really brings out the mwaah.  Hey Tom, I'm loving the bass more everyday!  I'm actually selling off my other 2 basses. (the Vigier included) .  The La Bellas have a nice upright thump that's very pleasing.  I like te brightness of the TI's better though.  With the low action and my tube preamp cranked to 8, I get HUGE Mwahh and growl.  sweet!

Thanks Tom, it’s a total stunner man, beautiful bass, it plays excellent, the tones I'm getting are awesome. You've out done yourself!! I thank you again my friend, the bass is a monster. I'm going to go get a case & make people in the music store jealous. They freaked out at the music store! Where did you get this? They wanted to know every detail. They talked about how good it looked & how good it sounded. I didn't let them play it....ITS MINE!!!!!They freaked out at the music store! Where did you get this? They wanted to know every detail. I'm going to go get a case & make people in the music store jealous.

Tom,
It arrived in perfect condition and seems wonderful. Thank-you.

Yes, it made it and I played just a little last night. Dude it is so awesome. I cant even say how cool it is. I have a little Coffee Shop deal to play Thursday night and cant wait. It turned out really really nice.

It also has a wide range of sounds and sounds sooooo good. I can’t believe the difference there is from the low end bass's I have always had and even some of the better ones I played at the bass shop compared to this one. Your Custom blows them away. Thanks. I am gonna start saving now for #??.

Thanks so much. Keep in touch. If you think about it periodically just send some shots of whatever your working on. I would like see what ya do next.

Hey, The first time I played the bass I only had like 10 minutes or so. I hooked up last night at a coffee shop type deal and played for a couple hours. I sounds so good!!!!!! I hope to be as good as it looks some day....I will work up an MP3 for ya soon as I can.

Randy
